Introduction

What is Kinoply?

A quick tour of how a channel, its templates and the engines fit together.

Kinoply makes finished, narrated videos for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. You give it a channel and an idea, and it researches, writes, voices and films the whole thing. You can approve each step, or let it run on its own.

This page is a placeholder. The full guide is on its way.

Channels

A channel holds everything that stays the same from video to video: who it’s for, how it sounds, how often it posts and what it should never do. Ideas are pitched to fit the channel.

Templates

A template is a recipe for one kind of video. A channel can have as many as it likes. Each one sets:

  • Characters: the recurring cast, kept looking the same in every shot.
  • Style references: a few pictures that set the look.
  • Director agent: how you like things shot, cut and paced.
  • Look and type: the art style and the fonts for titles and captions.
  • Voice and music: the narrator and the score.

Engines

Every shot is made by one of four engines, picked by the director agent:

  1. 3D film turns a painting into a 3D scene and flies a camera through it.
  2. Parallax cuts a scene into layers with real depth.
  3. Motion explainer draws maps, charts, diagrams and moving type.
  4. AI video turns a painting into a short generated clip, for shots that need real motion.

What you get
